The smallest car in the Prius lineup, the C (as in City), is built on the Yaris platform. The comparison ends there, however, since the 1.5L four-cylinder develops just 72 horsepower, versus 106 for the Yaris. On the other hand, its 60-hp electric motor more than makes up for it while keeping fuel consumption to a minimum.
