Completely redesigned for 2020, the Highlander merely gets a sportier XSE trim for 2021. Standard performance is delivered by a 295-horsepower V6 engine that can tow up to 5,000 pounds. The hybrid variant is less potent at 243 horsepower and 3,500 pounds of towing. However, it burns just 6.7 L/100 km of fuel on average. Now that’s impressive.
