The Model Y receives a mid-cycle update for 2026. Tesla has redesigned the body, improved build quality, recalibrated the suspension for enhanced comfort and increased sound insulation. The Performance model achieves 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 3.5 seconds, but it reduces maximum range from 542 to 494 km. Offered at a low price, a new Standard model with rear-wheel drive, much less content and only 463 km of range, also joins the lineup.
