Do you plan on buying a new car, SUV or pickup sometime in the next year? If you do, you might want to check Consumer Reports’ latest annual auto reliability rankings, which reflect predicted reliability based on comprehensive vehicle testing and owner surveys.
Some of the brands you should be wary of for 2022 include Lincoln (18 points on a scale of 100), Tesla (25), Jeep (26), Genesis (30) and Volkswagen (31). Many others are missing from the rankings, however, either due to insufficient data or because the manufacturer has too few models to be ranked. The list includes Alfa Romeo, Dodge, Fiat, Jaguar, Land Rover, Maserati, Mitsubishi and Polestar.
