The Subaru WRX - and its WRX STI cousin - offer all-wheel drive compact performance that is suitable for any weather conditions. Available in sedan and hatchback body styles, the Subaru WRX features a 2.5-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder that produces 265 horsepower and 244 lb-ft of torque. The STI graduates to a 305 horsepower edition of this same engine (that is also capable of producing 290 lb-ft of torque), and it gains a six-speed manual transmission (five for the base WRX).
