Its chassis was developed by Fiat, the owner of Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep, and the Cherokee has been equipped with the Dodge Dart’s 2.4L four-cylinder engine. There’s also a brand new 271-hp 3.2L V6 available. The lone transmission offered is a nine-speed (yes, nine!) automatic. Whether you love its style or you hate it, the Cherokee has people talking.
