The Element, the box-like Honda will soon have a serious rival in the Nissan Cube, so Honda will need to rethink it to better face the Cube. Built upon the CR-V's platform and benefitting from most of the same mechanical elements, the Element doesn't cost much to make and always represents a good value, at least for our southern neighbours. In order to respond to certain specific needs, there are new more abundant standard equipment packages and new multimedia connections, such as XM satellite radio.
