Quality issues marred the launch of the sixth-generation Explorer four years ago. And while Ford has made some improvements, concerns remain. The great thing about this midsize SUV is the seven-model lineup complete with three engine options, namely a turbocharged 2.3-litre four-cylinder rated at 300 horsepower and a turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 producing either 365 horsepower or 400 horsepower. The Explorer Hybrid is not returning for 2024. A refresh is expected to come the following model year.
