There are five different configurations for the Ferrari F430, the coupe and the Spider, which is offered with either six-speed manual or paddle shift transmissions, and finally, the very exclusive Scuderia coupe with F1 Superfast paddle shift transmission. Though there is only a 20 horsepower difference between the power outputs of the basic V8 engine and that which powers the Scuderia, set at 510 horsepower, it is the use of composite materials and weight reduction that make it a formidable machine. Simply put, the F430 Scuderia is a race car with a license plate.
