Chrysler’s minivan has just turned 40, but it’s not exactly cause for celebration. The Grand Caravan is no longer the big seller it used to be, and only one trim level (SXT) is now available. The 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 under the hood puts out 287 horsepower through a nine-speed automatic transmission. The more upscale Pacifica, available with hybrid technology or all-wheel drive, attracts more customers, not to mention competitors like the Toyota Sienna.
