Chevrolet Volt
The Volt is Chevrolet’s first electric vehicle, and they say it represents the future. As a vehicle 100% powered by electricity, it offers more than 50km of autonomy, the average distance people travel when going to work. Its autonomy can be boosted by the addition of a small fuel engine that charges the batteries when needed, enabling longer distances to be travelled. That’s GM’s new Flextreme platform, the one used by the Volt.
