Chevrolet Trax
The big news for the Trax is that it’s not a Canadian exclusivity anymore—sales will begin in the US in 2015. The friendly cute-ute is otherwise unchanged. Borrowed from the Cruze, the turbocharged 1.4L four-cylinder, rated at 138 horsepower, remains the only engine option. A six-speed manual transmission is standard, along with front-wheel drive; an automatic with the same number of gears is optional, and mandatory if you select all-wheel drive. The Trax’s roomy interior remains its best attribute.
