Capable of transporting nine passengers and their 3891 litres of luggage while towing up to 4355 kg, the Suburban remains a good long-distance towing vehicle. The 1500 Series comes with the 5.3L V8 while the 6.0L is exclusive to the 2500 Series. All use a six-speed automatic transmission with all-wheel drive standard on the 2500 Series, optional on the 1500. The fuel management system can switch off up to four cylinders to improve fuel economy.
