100 Years of Chrysler Cars and Concepts Celebrated in Detroit
Exactly 100 years ago, Maxwell Motors officially became Chrysler Corporation with Walter P. Chrysler as president. To celebrate this “Century of Innovation,” the company did more than announce a 100th Anniversary Edition of the Pacifica minivan for 2026—it also gathered more than 1,500 employees on the lawn at Chrysler Technology Center in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
Earlier this week, over 20 historic Chrysler concept and production vehicles were on display at the Detroit Yacht Club on Belle Isle in Detroit, with many motoring on road to mark the occasion. Chrysler Brand CEO Chris Feuell, Chief Design Officer Ralph Gilles and Chrysler Historian Brandt Rosenbusch also hosted a discussion about Chrysler’s past, present and future.
