Every year, German company BASF publishes its Color Report for Automotive OEM Coatings. Unsurprisingly, white remains number one with a global take rate of 39 percent.
It’s the same story in North America. In fact, white, black, silver and grey represent 77 percent of the market. That makes a lot of trucks and SUVs that all look alike.
