So Long George Barris, And Thank You

This Batmobile is a replica built in Quebec by Gilles Franc. It's one of the replicas that most closely resembles the original car.

Unlike popular belief, George Barris wasn't the creator of the Monkeemobile. However, he did build some very close replicas.

George Barris' creations can even be found in Quebec. This unique snowmobile can be seen at the J.Armand-Bombardier museum in Valcourt. This picture was taken about five years ago.

According to various publications, George Barris did work on Bo and Luke Duke's famous Dodge Charger, the General Lee from the TV show The Dukes of Hazzard.
