Aptly Named Jeep Wrangler Whitecap Honours ‘60s Icon
Jeep promised in mid-November to introduce 12 “buzz” models over 12 months to celebrate its 85 years of uninterrupted production. First came the 2026 Wrangler Moab 392, now here's the second: the 2026 Jeep Wrangler Whitecap.
Available exclusively in Sahara or Rubicon trim, this model draws inspiration from the old 1960 CJ-5, which is famously known for its optional Arctic White top. It features a Bright White painted hardtop roof with a matching seven-slot grille, as well as body-coloured fender flares (standard on Sahara and packaged on Rubicon).

There’s also a Bright White 1941 side strip decal, plus a Bright White hood decal in Rubicon trim. A Sky One-Touch power top in Bright White accent is optional.

The Whitecap model can be ordered in the full range of Jeep Wrangler body colours, either with the turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine or the 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 under the hood, but not with the 4xe plug-in hybrid system.
“The Wrangler Whitecap is more than a special edition, it’s a statement. It honours Jeep brand heritage while introducing a striking two-tone look that turns heads on any trail,” Jeep CEO Bob Broderdorf said. “Just like every model in the series, Whitecap is designed to stand out—a true tip of the hat to the brand’s legendary legacy.”

Canadian pricing and ordering for the new 2026 Jeep Wrangler Whitecap will be available in the coming weeks. See you on January 12 for Jeep’s third “buzz” model.
