Chrysler Unveils Rugged Pacifica Grizzly Peak Concept

Inspired by the growing popularity of adventure models, Chrysler is now showcasing its vision of the family outdoors vehicle (and the van life) with the Grizzly Peak concept—based on a Pacifica Limited AWD.

This minivan has been extensively modified, both visually and functionally. To tackle the trails, the van's suspension has been raised by 6.9 cm (2.75 inches) at the front and 6.3 cm (2.5 inches) at the rear. The 18-inch wheels (normally 20 inches) are fitted with 31-inch BF Goodrich KO2 all-terrain off-road tires. For a more rugged look, the body is finished in a matte Arktos colour with dark Foreshadow accents and grizzly bear emblems.

The front features Baja Designs LP4 LED fog lights. Mopar fender flares have been added, and the lower panels have paint protection. The Rhino-Rack Pioneer roof rack includes auxiliary lighting, a retractable awning, and a spare tire.

The interior is just as clever. The third row is removed to make room for a panel, creating a flat space for sleeping. Underneath it is a compartment for storing extra gear. The second row, equipped with captain's chairs, also has 115 V/450 watt outlets. Stackable storage bins and a first aid kit are also included. Visually, the cabin features cement gray seats and is accented with touches of liquid titanium (dashboard, steering wheel, and doors). The seat belts are orange, while the steering wheel has unique perforations and paddle shifters. Finally, all-season floor mats are also included, because things are expected to get dirty in there!

Remember that this minivan is powered by a 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 engine that produces 287 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. It is paired with a 9-speed transmission. The towing capacity is 3,600 lb. The 2025 Pacifica Limited AWD is priced at $70,895 (all fees included) and is manufactured at the Windsor, Ontario plant. The Grizzly Peak concept will make its debut at the Overland Expo Mountain West in Loveland, Colorado, from August 22 to 24.
