2026 Lucid Air Gains Range, Access to Tesla Superchargers… With a Catch
Following numerous announcements in 2024, more and more electric vehicles are now gaining access to Tesla Superchargers. The Lucid Air, which is receiving an update for 2026, is one of them.
Unlike the brand’s new Gravity SUV with its native NACS charge port, the Air sedan has to settle for a CCS-NACS adapter, which will also be available to existing owners, regardless of model or model year. The adapter can be purchased from Lucid retailers at US$220 (Canadian price TBD).

We must warn you, however: the Lucid Air won't be able to extract more than 50 kW from a Supercharger using the adapter. That said, the company claims it's possible to regain up to 320 km of range in an hour under optimal conditions.
Speaking of range, the dual-motor Air Touring gains about 6 percent for the 2026 model year, going from 653 to 694 km. Other models pretty much stay put, including up to 832 km of range with the dual-motor Air Grand Touring. Incidentally, a mobile charging cable kit with multiple adapters will come standard on all models, as will an improved air conditioning compressor that will cool the cabin faster and more quietly.

What else? There’s a new optional 19-inch Aeronaut wheel available in both Platinum and Stealth appearances. Lucid also recently announced a major update to its optional DreamDrive Pro suite of advanced driver assistance systems to enable hands-free driving and lane changes.
Shoppers can now customize the 2026 Lucid Air using the Design Yours online configurator. Canadian prices (including applicable fees, excluding taxes) are as follows:
- Pure – $99,900
- Touring – $112,800
- Grand Touring – $161,200
