2026 Ram Heavy Duty Lineup Expands With Black Express, Warlock
Similar to the Ram 1500, a Black Express model will join the Ram Heavy Duty lineup for the 2026 model year. There’s an equally new Warlock model on the way, too. Both will arrive later this summer from the Saltillo plant in Mexico, just like the others.
“Everyone likes a good-looking truck, but the challenge is making it affordable while adding value to the entire lineup,” Ram CEO Tim Kuniskis said. “The Ram 2500 Black Express and Warlock offer an attractive price with custom appearance, while building on our sport truck leadership position.”

Let's start with the 2026 Ram 2500 Black Express, which is available in Crew Cab 4x4 configuration with a short or long bed. It features a sport performance hood, body-coloured bumpers and grille surround, 20-inch black wheels and black tubular side steps. The convex towing mirrors are exclusive in the segment.

Customers can select from eight body colours including Bright White (pictured above), Diamond Black, Granite Crystal, Silver Zynith, Forged Blue, Flame Red, Ceramic Grey and Molten Red. Inside, cloth seats, carpet floor covering and carpet floor mats are just the basic stuff. ParkSense front and rear park assist also comes standard.
The Black Express package costs $3,995 on top of the Tradesman Crew Cab 4x4 short bed model, for an all-inclusive price of $78,385.
Meanwhile, the 2026 Ram 2500 Warlock comes only in Crew Cab 4x4 configuration with a short bed, but with the same selection of colours. The bumpers, grille surround and fender flares are finished in black. Warlock decals are applied to the sides of the bed.

The 20-inch diamond-cut wheels are shod in 33-inch Goodyear Duratrac all-terrain tires and controlled with the help of Bilstein shocks tuned for on- and off-road use. An anti-spin rear differential is also part of the mix, just like a transfer case skid plate. The cabin features similar cloth seats and carpet floor covering, but all-weather floor mats provide protection.
The Warlock package is $4,495 more expensive than a Tradesman Crew Cab 4x4 short bed model, for an all-inclusive price of $78,885.

Oh, and as far as the engine under the hood is concerned, the 6.4-litre HEMI V8 (405 horsepower, 429 lb-ft of torque) can be replaced by the 6.7-litre Cummins High-Output turbo-diesel six-cylinder (430 horsepower, 1,075 lb-ft).
