Otogo Partners With Mobilis Corporation's Golf Tournament
With 145 heavy truck and car dealer members in the Quebec, Charlevoix and Chaudière-Appalaches regions, the Mobilis Corporation also organises the Quebec City International Auto Show and the Quebec Electric Vehicle Show.
Today, the Mobilis Corporation celebrates its 100th anniversary. A gala will be held November 16 to commemorate its centenary, but another important event will take place two months earlier.
As a matter of fact, Mobilis Corporation’s traditional golf tournament will return on September 8th 2022 for its 35th edition. Representatives of the Corporation’s member dealers, as well as many industry partners, including Otogo, will gather at the Lorette Golf Club, in Québec.
All the proceeds from this friendly tournament will go directly to the Mobilis Foundation, whose mission is to help individuals, families or non-profit associations facing mobility-related needs. Since its creation in October 2009, the Foundation has raised over 1.5 million dollars and has helped improve the lives of more than 320 beneficiaries.
“Mobilis Corporation’s golf tournament is a wonderful opportunity for our dealers and partners to contribute to the well-being of people with mobility related needs. This fundraiser is important because it allows us to help as many people as possible for the rest of the year,” said Claude Plamondon, president of the Mobilis Foundation.
The 2021 edition has raised $53,000 in donations. Together, the golf tournament and the Benefit Evening Premiere of the Québec City International Auto Show allow to collect over $200,000 for the Foundation each year.
