Mercedes E-Class Wagon Due in Frankfurt, and North America

Frankfurt’s auto show is rapidly becoming vastly more promising than many international auto shows of late. With the production Aston Martine Rapide promised, a new Porsche Turbo, and a conceptual superlight MX-5 numbering among the attendees, it’s a far cry from the previous depressingly empty shows. And now there’s something else slightly less exotic, but probably more interesting to 90% of enthusiasts out there: the 2010 Mercedes Benz E-Class Wagon.

Available in a variety of trim levels, there’s going to be the standard V6, V8 and AMG models that we had previously, but the best news is the Bluetec diesel model. Of course, it would be better news if we were to get that model too, but sadly, it’s not to be. Having just announced the wagon’s eventual importation into this continent, Mercedes has slated the standard E350 model for our shores, and there’s a pretty good chances we’ll be getting the AMG model too... but that’s all.
