NRCan releases list of most fuel efficient vehicles for 2016

Natural Resources Canada has released its list of the most fuel efficient vehicles for 2016, with three variants of the Toyota Prius hybrid family making the cut.
Joining the Prius, Prius C and Prius V models from Toyota's stable is the new RAV4 Hybrid, as well the Lexus RX 450h.
The complete list includes:
- Conventional two-seater: Honda CR-Z
- Advanced technology two-seater: smart fortwo electric drive
- Conventional minicompact: Fiat 500
- Conventional subcompact: Ford Fiesta (1.0-litre three-cylinder)
- Advanced technology subcompact: BMW i3
- Conventional compact: Toyota Prius C
- Advanced technology compact: Ford Focus Electric
- Conventional midsize: Toyota Prius
- Advanced technology midsize: Nissan LEAF
- Conventional fullsize: Ford C-MAX Hybrid
- Advanced technology fullsize: Tesla Model S 70D
- Conventional small wagon: Honda Fit
- Advanced technology small wagon: Kia Soul EV
- Conventional midsize wagon: Toyota Prius V
- Conventional small pickup: Chevrolet Colorado Diesel and GMC Canyon Diesel
- Conventional fullsize pickup: Ram 1500 EcoDiesel
- Conventional small crossover: Toyota RAV4 Hybrid
- Conventional crossover: Lexus RX 450h
- Advanced technology crossover: Tesla Model X 90D
- Conventional minivan: Mazda5
