Trois-Rivieres (Quebec, Canada), May 19, 2016 – Jean-François Dumoulin and the #04 Dodge Spectra Premium / Bernier Crépeau / Groupe Bellemare / MIA team are determined to put up a fierce fight this weekend on the circuit of the Canadian Motorsport Park, Bowmanville, Ontario. A deeply meaningful track for Jean-François Dumoulin, where he has achieved his first podium in the NASCAR

Pinty’s series last year.

The complicity between Jean-François Dumoulin and Robin McCluskey, crew chief for the #04 Spectra Premium / Bernier Crépeau / Groupe Bellemare / MIA team, grew rapidly. Furthermore, the early May practice session was promising, and the team haven’t stopped tweaking the settings and the pit stop strategy.

“The practice day was efficient: the car is fast and responsive on the track. The chemistry with Robin McCluskey is there, and I can’t wait for the first race, we’ll be competitive this year,” shares the enthused driver of the #04 Spectra Premium / Bernier Crépeau / Groupe Bellemare / MIA car. “Thanks to our partners, we’ll be able to achieve better performance this year, and the addition of Spectra Premium allows us to solidify our position. The goal is to rank high in the qualifying session, so we can ensure we’re in a strong position at the end of the race.”

The elder Dumoulin brother, renowned for his ability to skillfully sneak his way to the frontlines, is confident he can offer high-level performance to fully showcase his talent. The race will be broadcast on TSN on Sunday, May 29 at noon, on Tuesday, May 31 at 4 PM and midnight, as well as on RDS2 on Sunday, June 12 at 11 PM, and on Tuesday, June 14 at 4:30 PM.
