A Topless Noble M600

Do you remember the Noble M600? This little English supercar has been built by an independent shop since 2001, and received quite a lot of media coverage when it was featured on Top Gear. The M600 is powered by a Volvo-sourced 4.4-litre V8 (from the XC90) that has been rebuilt by Yamaha and fitted with two turbochargers. By turning a switch inside the cabin, it's possible to have 450, 550 or 650 horsepower available. Said engine is mounted amidships, giving the M600 impressive handling.

However, the car hasn't seen much improvement in the last few years. To give it a little edge against the competition, Noble decided to offer a convertible... back in 2012. Since they are such a small company, it has taken quite a lot of time to actually build a prototype.

For now, Noble plans on getting customers input to justify building a few M600 Speedsters. Not only does the car lack a roof, but it has also had its manual transmission replaced by a six-speed sequential gearbox. Performance will probably be impressive, just like the price; expect to pay over $300,000 for one of those beauties.
