Saleen Will Present Its Tesla Model S At Pebble Beach
Saleen is an American tuner known for modifying Fords, most notably by equipping them with huge superchargers. Their vehicles are usually very powerful and also unbelievably noisy: not only can you hear their engines from far away, but their superchargers also whine a lot.
However, the next car to come out of Saleen's factories will be very different: it won't feature any kind of supercharging, and it will be almost silent, since it is based on the all-electric Tesla Model S.
We know pretty much nothing about this new vehicle, and the tuner has been very quiet about it. We received some sketches, some pictures of the car driving and in other various states of disassembly. We know that the Tesla will receive some performance and esthetic upgrades.
Saleen will unveil their version of the Tesla Model S, dubbed Foursixteen, at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
