2015 GMC Sierra Denali: Better Handling and More Comfort

Some vehicles are made to be workhorses: hard-working, solid and capable. But what do you do when you want to reward yourself for all this hard work? You want a comfortable vehicle that can haul as much as a standard truck, but with better comfort? You get yourself a luxury truck. In keeping with tradition, GMC just unveiled their latest luxury Sierra, the Denali.

The main appeal of the Denali has always been luxury, and this one is no exception: chromed grille, projector-style front headlights, 20-inch chrome wheels and colour-matched bumpers give this truck a nice look. Inside, an 8-inch screen in the instrument panel can be configured to suit the driver's needs. The vehicle is also equipped with a Bose sound system, heated and cooled front seats, heated steering wheel, front and back parking sensors and even another 8-inch screen, this one in the center console that houses the satellite navigation among other things.

But the main update made to the 2015 Sierra Denali is to the suspension. It is the first truck equipped with GM's Magnetic Ride Control, a system first seen in the Corvette and the Camaro ZL1. This suspension can ''read'' the road ahead, and absorb bumps in less than 5 milliseconds. Judging by our tests of vehicles equipped with it, the Denali's comfort will be greatly enhanced.

Every 2015 Sierra Denali will be protected by GMC's Pro Grade warranty. This includes 2 years of free maintenance, a 3 year/60,000 km bumper-to-bumper warranty and a 5 year/ 160,000 km powertrain warranty.
