Aston Martin Will Launch a new DB9 for 2016

Aston Martin's VH platform (unrelated to the delicious VH sauce) has been in production for over a decade, since the launch of the first Vanquish in 2001. It has then been adapted to many flavors, from the spicy V8 Vantage to the sweet and sour Rapide.

Now though, it would seem that the next iteration of the DB9 will be riding on a new chassis, making it a completely new car. The engine, transmission and electrical system are also new, since they will come from Germany's AMG. A twin-turbo, 4L V8 engine is expected. This new DB9 should be available in 2016, but no official release date has been offered so far.

Aston Martin also announced its financial results for 2013: 13% more profit, and a total of 4200 units sold. Not bad!
