Pictures of Jeep's Smallest CUV, the Renegade

The Internet once again pulled a rabbit out of its hat this weekend, presenting us with leaked pictures of the smallest member of the Jeep family, which finally has a confirmed name: the Renegade.

The pictures surfaced on Jalopnik, and according to rumors the little Jeep will be based on the Fiat 500L platform, use the 1.4 liter turbo (good for 160 HP) found in the Fiat, feature an optional small diesel engine and comes with 4 wheel drive as standard. It will also be the first CUV to be equipped with a nine-speed transmission.

Another picture shows the MY SKY sunroof system. It seems to be two distinct pieces, allowing the front, the rear or all passengers to enjoy the sun.

Chrysler/Fiat is supposed to release more information at the Geneva auto show, later this week.
