VW Beetle R-Line Coupe: The New Turbo

The 2014 Beetle Turbo is renamed the R-Line and combines all the engine and suspension upgrades of the Beetle line-up including the long awaited independent rear suspension.

The base R-Line comes with the more powerful 210-hp TSI® turbocharged engine and includes a host of features such as new 18-inch alloy wheels; sport suspension, front fog lights and cloth sport seats to name a few.

The R-Line family upgrade options include a Sunroof and Sound package with keyless entry and Fender premium audio while the top of the line, Sunroof, Sound and Navigation package adds navigation, leather seating surfaces, 19-inch alloy wheels; Bi-Xenon headlights with LED DRLs and a rear-view camera amongst other goodies.

Base gearbox on the R-Line is a six-speed manual with the six-speed DSG® dual-clutch automatic transmission optional.
