The 2014 Van of the Year award has been given to the Ford Transit Connect during the Moscow Motor Show.
The Ford Transit Connect shares the podium alongside the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and Renault Kangoo.

Its the first time a manufacturer won this honor for two consecutive years. The Ford Transit Custom had seized the coveted trophy last year as well which is awarded by a panel of twenty four journlaists. This represents a fifth title for Ford Europe.
The Ford Transit Connect
The new Ford commercial van will be sold in Canada by the end of this year. It’s a multifunctional vehicle that offers:
- Up to 3682 liters of cargo space behind the seats;
- A payload capacity of 748 pounds;
- A towing capacity of 907 pounds.
