Alfa Romeo 4C Less Than A Year Away?

Fiat has once again whetted the appetites of small sports car fans with a new advertisement designed to whip up excitement for the Alfa Romeo 4C. The Alfa Romeo 4C has been seen in prototype form several times since it first debuted in 2011, but changing priorities at Fiat have kept the company from nailing down a release date. Given the nature of the teasing advertisement, which displays the same style of wheel that has graced concept versions of the 4C, some are now predicting that the sports car will herald Alfa Romeo's return to North America in early 2014 at the latest.

The Alfa Romeo 4C promises to deliver more than 200 horsepower from a turbocharged, four-cylinder engine, and the vehicle will weigh less than 1000 kg. This would make for a raucous projectile of an automobile, and its mid-engine design and extroverted styling further adds to the exotic nature of the 4C.
