New Chevy Trailblazer Not North America-Bound

A few days ago, Chevy announced their intention to use the new Colorado pickup truck as a base for an all-new Trailblazer. A badge that’s been absent from dealerships for quite some time, it’s passing went almost wholly unnoticed, and left many wondering where the new body-on-frame SUV would sit within the already well-populated GM SUV universe. 

But GM has effectively answered that question by announcing that the new Trailblazer will not be available for sale in the United States, and by extension, (most likely) Canada. Surprisingly, the South American- and Asian-built ‘ute will debut in the Thai market, of all places, with further expansion to follow.
