Much has changed about four-wheel drive vehicles over the last 22 years, but one reality is the same: Cost.

From the higher initial cost to the higher service costs, owning a four-wheel drive vehicle may seem like a good idea but, as Bill Gardiner noted way back in 1993, should be considered carefully.
