Kenzie's Korner: Cutting speed limits won't prevent accidents

There has been a lot of talk across the country lately about reducing speed limits, particularly in residential areas.

And while Jim Kenzie won't argue the laws of physics, he does take issue with the idea of reducing speed limits to prevent accidents.

Artificially reducing speed limits will do nothing to reduce accidents, he says, as it increases the diversity of speed on the roadway.

But what does he know?
