Kenzie’s Korner: Young drivers need more sleep
We've all said it—or heard it—a thousand times: Five more minutes, mom!
Turns out, it could be a lifesaver.
According to research conducted in Virginia, students attending high schools that start earlier in the day are more likely to be involved in car crashes than those who start later in the day.
Students with a later start have also been proven to do better academically than their early-rising peers, according to research.
Jim Kenzie's advice?
Maybe that extra five minutes is't such a bad thing after all.
