Toronto-built vehicles are bulletproof—literally

A lot of companies boast about the bulletproof quality of their products, but not many can say it literally.

INKAS Armored Vehicle Manufacturing is one of the lucky few.

Based in Toronto, INKAS builds armoured vehicles that are sold around the world.

From the Toyota Camry to the Mercedes G-Class, and everything in between, the company takes vehicles and retrofits them to withstand everything from bullets to bomb blasts—all while maintaining a factory look.

Howard Elmer recently toured INKAS’ facility to find out what goes into the upfitting process.
