Issue: On certain vehicles, fuel could spill in the fuel filler pocket when refueling.

As a result, fuel could leak onto the left-side radiator and fan assembly.

If this happens, the fuel could contact hot surfaces in the engine compartment.

Safety Risk: A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire.

Corrective Actions: General Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to install a shield to divert spilled fuel.
