Issue: On certain trucks, water could leak into the connector for the rearview camera.

Over time, this could cause corrosion to the ground wire.

If this happens, the rearview camera image may not display correctly or at all.

Note: Vehicles equipped with 360-degree camera systems are not affected by this recall.

Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that doesn't display correctly could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up.

This could increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to replace the rearview camera and the rearview camera wiring harness.
