Details

Issue: Under certain conditions, a software problem could cause a loss of brakes.

Note: This recall only affects plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and electric vehicles.

Safety Risk: A loss of brakes can increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Volvo recommends not to use the "B" or "One Pedal Drive" drive modes until the recall repairs are completed.

Volvo will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicles to a dealership to update the brake control module software.
