Recalls

Issue: On certain vehicles, the transmission valve body may not have been manufactured properly.

As a result, the reverse gear may not work, or the vehicle could move forward, when the reverse ("R") or neutral ("N") positions are selected.

Note: This recall only affects vehicles equipped with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Safety Risk: A vehicle that moves unexpectedly could create the risk of an injury or a crash.

Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the transmission main control valve body.
