Issue: On certain vehicles, a beam inside the driver's door may not have been welded properly.

As a result, side impact protection may be reduced in a crash.

Safety Risk: Reduced side impact protection could increase the risk of injuries in a crash.

Corrective Actions: General Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the driver's door.
