Issue: On a small number of vehicles, a part inside the transmission could fail and cause a loss of power to the wheels.

Safety Risk: A loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions: Volkswagen will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the transmission.
