Issue: On certain vehicles, the fuel line could become damaged by contact with the steering gear in certain crashes.

If this happens, fuel could leak.

Note: This recall only affects certain plug-in hybrid models equipped with rack-mounted motor driven power steering (R-MDPS).

Safety Risk: A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire.

Corrective Actions: Kia will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to install an additional protective cover on the fuel line.
