Issue: On certain vehicles, the wrong bumper backup lamp assembly may have been installed.

As a result, the backup lamps may be the wrong colour when the vehicle is reversing.

Canadian regulations require the backup lamps to be white.

Safety Risk: Backup lamps that aren't the correct colour could cause others not to recognize when a vehicle is backing up and could increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions: FCA Canada will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the bumper backup lamp assembly.
