Issue: On certain vehicles, the inner-left roof frame may have a small crack.

As a result, the driver's head airbag (curtain airbag) may not inflate properly in a crash.

Safety Risk: A head airbag that doesn't work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash.

Corrective Actions: BMW will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, repair the inner-left roof frame.
