Issue: On certain vehicles, the incomplete vehicle information label lists an incorrect gross axle weight rating (GAWR) for the front axle.

The label incorrectly lists the front axle capacity as 2100 kg (4630 lb.).

The label should instead list the front axle capacity as 1875 kg (4134 lb.).

This could lead to overloading of the vehicle and cause the steering knuckle(s) to fail.

If this happens, there could be a loss of control.

Note: This recall only affects certain rear-wheel drive incomplete vehicles equipped with single rear wheels, a 3.5L engine and a 138'' wheelbase.

Safety Risk: A loss of control could increase the risk a crash.

Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the incomplete vehicle information label.
