Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the tell-tales for the turn signals, hazard warning lights and/or high beams to not appear on the instrument panel.

As a result, the vehicles may not meet certain requirements of Canadian regulations.

Safety Risk: Tell-tales that don't display could cause you not to be aware that a turn signal, hazard warning lights and/or high beams are activated which could create confusion for others and cause reduced visibility and/or glare for oncoming drivers.

These issues could increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions: General Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the instrument cluster software.
