Details

Issue: Under certain conditions, the driver and/or passenger seat belt(s) could remain locked after use.

If this happens, the driver and/or passenger may not be able to use the seat belt(s).

Note: These parts that may have been installed on new vehicles or sold as an accessory part through General Motor dealerships.

Safety Risk: Not wearing a seat belt can increase the risk of injury in a crash.

Corrective Actions: General Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the driver and/or passenger seat belt retractor(s).
