Issue: On certain trucks, the repairs completed by a General Motors dealer during recall N192220470 (Transport Canada recall no.

2019-325) or customer satisfaction program no.

N192270330 may not have been completed properly.

As a result, a second repair is required.

Additionally, certain trucks may not have had the updated parts installed during production.

On certain trucks equipped with a power sliding rear window, the rear defroster wiring could overheat and melt.

Safety Risk: Wiring that overheats and melts can create the risk of a fire.

Corrective Actions: General Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to replace the contact cover for the sliding rear window.

The dealer will also update the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) software, if necessary.

If the rear window or sliding glass assembly are damaged, they will be replaced.
